How It Started
It began with two guys, Drew and Justin, who started a punk rock band back in 2003. In those early days, it was all about writing songs, loading gear into Drew’s old minivan, and playing shows wherever anyone would have them.
Along the way, they dreamed about launching their own clothing brand — something that could reflect their creative energy.
By 2009, the band was winding down, and they decided to go all in on their new idea: a surf and skate brand called iON. With limited funds, they sold off their music gear, bought a $275 screen printing press on eBay, and taught themselves how to print in a garage. Those early days were full of mistakes, late nights, and stubborn determination.
Before long, other people started asking them to print shirts for their businesses, events, and brands. In late 2010, they pivoted — leaving iON behind and launching a custom print shop named iNK.
Today, iNK is a full-service screen printing and embroidery company located in downtown Lakeland. We've grown from two guys in a garage to a 9-person team, using professional equipment and serving customers across all of Central Florida.
