How do I start an order?
- Best way is to use our Instant Price Calculator, or you can reach out to us directly if you need more assistance.
What kind of printing do you do?
- We offer traditional screen printing, embroidery, and direct-to-film (DTF) print options.
How fast can I get my order?
- After you have approved and paid for your order we typically have screen printed and DTF orders ready for pickup or delivery within 7 business days. If you need it quicker just let us know and we'll confirm if we can RUSH (additional charges may apply). With embroidery, orders may take longer depending on the size of your embroidered design and quantity of order. We will always let you know the expected turnaround time when we send your Official Quote & Proof for approval.
How is my price determined?
- Price is based on the specific style of apparel you choose, the quantity you want to order, and which print method/s you prefer (screen print vs embroidery vs DTF). The easiest way to see different pricing options is to use our Instant Price Calculator.
Can I order a mix of apparel styles or colors?
- Typically, yes you can. As long as your design being printed will be the same on all apparel styles and colors, then we can do a mix for no extra charge. If the design has to be altered then additional charges may apply. Just reach out to us if you know the specific order mix you are looking for.
Do you have a minimum order quantity?
- Yes, for tee shirts and fleece (hoodies, jackets) the order minimum is 50 pieces. For polos and hats the order minimum is 12 pieces.
Do you print for just other businesses?
- No, we print for many different types of customers: businesses, schools, churches, non-profits, event organizers, athletic organizations, other printers, individuals, and more. The main thing is we are a bulk printer, so we do not print just 1 or 2 piece orders.
Artwork / Design
What type of file do you need for my artwork / design?
- The best type is a vector file, usually created in Adobe Illustrator (.ai, .eps, or .pdf). This file type allows us to manipulate and scale the design without losing any detail. We also accept high-resolution .jpeg and .pdf that is sized to the final print dimension.
Can iNK help me create or change my design?
- Most likely yes, but it will depend on the complexity of what you are going for. If we can and it's a simple design then there should be no extra charge, but if it requires quite a bit of work on our side than additional charges may apply. Best to reach out to us to discuss your design needs.
Can you print any color in my design?
- In theory, we can print or embroider any color you need. However, we do carry a standard library of ink and thread colors that you can view HERE. If you need a color that is not part of our library then we can custom mix a Pantone ink color or order specific thread colors for an additional charge. For direct-to-film (DTF) prints, all colors are available as this is a digital print using the CMYK process.
Printing Basics
What is screen printing, embroidery, and direct-to-film (DTF)?
- All are ways to get your artwork, design, or logo on a piece of apparel! Check out our Resources page for a more detailed explanation of each print method.
Do you offer Puff printing or embroidery?
- Yes, we do!
Can you print all over a piece of apparel?
- No, we cannot. This is typically done with sublimation printing or the cut-and-sew process, neither of which we offer.
How many ink colors can you screen print?
- It depends on the design, but our screen printing presses can usually print up to 8 spot colors if needed. Now, with our Instant Price Calculator the screen print options only include a 1, 2, or 3 color print. If you would like more than 3 colors to be screen printed please reach out to us for a custom quote!
How many thread colors can my embroidered design be?
- Our embroidery machines allow for up to 15 thread colors, but most designs only need 7 or 8 max. The majority really only need 1-3 colors, just like with screen printing.
Do you have to print different design sizes on different sized garments?
- Maybe, it just depends on the size range of your order. For example, if you want Youth size Extra Small all the way up to Adult size 4XL then we will probably need a smaller size print for the Youth and bigger size print for the Adult items. It's really your preference, but we'll definitely let you know if we foresee any problems with a design being too big or small on specific apparel sizes, and if additional charges would apply.

What if I want a different type of apparel product than you offer on the Instant Price Calculator?
- No problem, our vendors offer a huge selection of brands, styles, and colors. We've included the most popular styles that our customers typically order on the Instant Price Calculator, but we are happy to check our vendors' sites for any specific item you are looking for, too!
Can I supply my own apparel for you to print?
- Maybe, just let us know what you have and we'll be glad to consider it.
Can I buy blank apparel from iNK?
- No, we don't really sell blank apparel. Sorry!
Payment, Shipping, Returns
How do I pay for my order?
- You will receive an Official Quote and Proof before we start your order. Once you approve, there is an online payment option available within the Quote window. If you'd prefer to pay with check or cash, just let us know and we'll arrange for payment by mail or in-person. We also accept NET terms payments for customers who have a Purchase Order process system (subject to our approval).
Is Shipping available and what is the cost?
- Most of our orders are either picked up by customers at our location, or we personally deliver them to you. Free Shipping is available for Florida customers via FedEx Ground, but this will add to your turnaround time. All other shipping options (Express, Overnight, UPS, etc) and out-of-state shipping will be an additional charge.
Can I return my order if I don't like my printed apparel?
- If your order doesn't match your Official Quote & Proof that you approved, you can return the apparel and request a reprint. That's something that neither of us wants, and we work very hard to ensure you get exactly what you're expecting.
Also, remember that printed apparel is not an exact science and does require a lot of hands-on processing. Please understand that small differences and fluctuations in ink color, design placement, thread density, etc may occur and this is a normal part of the print production process. Please let us know if you have any issues with your order and we will do our best to find a solution that works for both you and us!
